This regulated course is essential for individuals who wish to obtain a personal licence, enabling them to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol in settings such as pubs, nightclubs, cafés, restaurants, hotels, retailers and sports facilities, as well as for those looking to progress into roles such as a designated premises supervisor. Learners will gain a thorough understanding of licensing objectives, legal duties, the application process, the responsibilities of licensing authorities, the effects of alcohol on customers, safeguarding children on licensed premises and the powers held by police and other authorities.
The qualification can be completed through e-Learning with final e-assessment at an approved centre, with delivery supported by Highfield training materials and e-learning to ensure every learner gains the knowledge and confidence required to meet industry standards with an invigilated assessment at the MGPC training centre.
