This qualification is ideal for individuals seeking to become emergency first-aiders in the workplace, particularly within organisations that have identified the need for staff to be trained to this level as part of their first-aid needs assessment. Delivered to a high standard by MGPC Security & Training Limited, the course ensures learners gain a solid understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a first aider, as well as how to assess and manage a range of incidents.
The Emergency First Aid at Work course typically takes one day to complete, with around seven hours of learning and a minimum of six hours’ contact time. During this comprehensive training, learners will develop practical skills in CPR and the use of an AED, along with how to assist a choking casualty and provide effective treatment for external bleeding and hypovolaemic shock, ensuring they are fully prepared to act in an emergency.
