MGPC Security & Training Limited delivers a focused First Aid at Work Requalification course, designed for individuals who need to renew their existing qualification while maintaining high standards of workplace safety and compliance.
This requalification is suitable for learners who currently hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate, or whose certificate has expired within the last 30 days. In addition, all learners are required to successfully complete a mandatory online pre-course prior to attending the practical session, ensuring foundational knowledge is refreshed in advance.
The course reinforces the essential skills and confidence required to respond effectively to a wide range of workplace emergencies. MGPC Security & Training Limited ensures that learners revisit the roles and responsibilities of a first aider, safe incident assessment procedures, and the recognition of key signs and symptoms associated with common injuries and illnesses.
Delivered over one intensive day, this requalification places strong emphasis on practical skill development. Learners will refresh their competence in CPR, the safe use of an AED, and the management of serious incidents, including major injuries and medical conditions such as chest injuries, spinal injuries, and anaphylaxis, including the correct use of auto-injectors.
By the end of the course, learners will be fully updated, confident, and capable of continuing their role as qualified workplace first aiders.
